The concept of breaking from the study of one traditional martial art
and instead training to be a complete fighter in all ranges from the ground up
was pioneered and popularized by Bruce Lee.
Lee believed that the best fighter is not a Boxer, Karate. Kung Fu or Judo man,
"The best fighter is someone who can adapt to any style."
